Educational Cultural Festival
Project Description
In partnership with The Getty, the Natural History Museum of LA, and the Edinburgh Science Museum, I produced a large-scale family festival at La Brea Tar Pits as part of the PST ART: Art & Science Collide initiative. The event was designed to make art and science accessible, interactive, and joyful for all ages.
I oversaw festival production from ideation through execution, including managing site logistics, booking vendors, coordinating immersive science workshops, and integrating artistic programming. The event brought together educational organizations, community partners, and live performers in a space that felt equally playful and thought-provoking.

Impact
The festival served as a free community-centered culmination of a multi-institutional partnership and helped spark curiosity around both creative expression and scientific exploration. Families from across Los Angeles engaged with hands-on exhibits, watched live science demos, participated in collaborative art-making, and enjoyed food and music in a celebratory environment. The event received enthusiastic feedback from partner institutions and families alike, and reinforced the value of free, inclusive programming in public cultural spaces.
